瑜伽的誤解


問題:我的筋很硬,不會適合做瑜伽 🤔

解說:我明白不少人對瑜伽有些誤解,甚至恐懼,因為有不少瑜伽的宣傳也是一些高難度動作的照片。其實這也不過是一點噱頭而已!😅


我想告訴大家:瑜伽,並不是要求你將身體顛覆地扭動。

瑜伽的式子,是幫助你鬆開身體蹦緊的地方,好讓體內循環更好,養份可以去到身體每處;好讓呼吸能更暢順;好讓積壓了的情緒,垃圾得以釋放,被排走;好讓心境能更平靜...


瑜伽式子的練習,是讓我們的心能更穩定,更專注,去感受瑜伽更深層的好處,更輕鬆自在的生活。


瑜伽的重點,不是在於我能伸展多少,我能做多少高難度的式子。 在瑜伽蓆上,我們學習觀察,接納,感受,跟自己連結。 式子的練習,只是瑜伽的一少部份。 瑜伽還有一大片很廣闊的世界。


Misunderstanding: My body is too stiff for yoga 🤔


Answer: I understand a lot of people have so much fear about yoga, they want to try, but they don't dare to try, because they think their body is not bendy enough to handle those difficult poses...Infact yoga is not so much about mastering difficult poses, yoga is about mastering the mind. Those difficult poses in yoga centre promotion is just gimmick, but sadly this creates a lot of misunderstanding.😅


All I want to say is, Yoga is not about twisting your body here and there. Yoga poses (asana) is to help you open up the body, remove tension and blockages in the body, energize cells and tissues, have better circulation, deeper and smoother breathing...


The practice of asana is to calm the mind, so we can be balanced and stable to go into a deeper practice.


On the mat we practise awareness and acceptance, it's not about how much we can stretch, it's about how relaxed and aware we are in the stretch.


Asana is just a small part in yoga, don't get attached to that. There is much more beyond this.
