Why Meditate?

靜坐能把我們浮躁的心靜下來,讓我們回歸內在的寧靜,平安,讓我們的心安穩下來。
當我們的心是 “定”,是 “靜” 時,我們的狀態便不一樣了,我們會活得輕鬆自在,活得清明,更自愛,更包容,與身邊的人關係更好。
尤其這幾年間,社會上有很多變化,週邊充滿着不安,焦慮,恐懼,憤怒,壓力;加上資訊泛濫,不少人每天也在社交媒體上流連,於是眼晴,頭腦吸收了很多資訊,腦袋不停運作,好像墮進了旋渦,被牽著走,頭腦沒有平靜的一刻,只有混亂,擔憂及疲累。
靜坐能把我們帶回當下,讓思緒慢慢靜下來,就好像暴風雨後平靜下來的感覺,讓我們感受到 “我們可以選擇不被頭腦牽著走的”。當我們能靜下來時,浮躁會漸漸消失,壓力也漸漸溶掉,一種清新,安穩的感覺漸漸萌芽,我們會感覺到很實在,很舒服,輕鬆自在,才發現原來我們內在,有這麼一大片的寧靜及平安。
當我們有恆常靜坐的習慣時,漸漸地生活會變得不再一樣,我們的狀態,情緒會很穩定,不會那麼容易被外在世界發生的事情所影響,我們知道週邊正在發生的一切,亦有一個清明的心知道是否需要回應,要怎樣回應。
然後,生活得自在,快樂就是很自然的事。😊
Meditation calms the mind, helps us connect to the peace and silence within, brings us back to a balanced and stable state.
When we are balanced and stable, we will be at ease. Our awareness will increase. We will be more accepting, in harmony with ourselves and others.
With so many changes last few years, the society has accumulated a lot of stress, anxiety, worries, fear, anger..., plus there are tonnes of information circulating around everyday, at work, in media, social media, resulting in "information overload", most of us are being trapped and carried away by irrelevant news, resulting in confusion, worries and fatigue.
Meditation brings us back to the present moment. It helps to silence the mind, dissolving stress, fear, anger, you will feel like the storm finally calms down. We realize we have a choice, we know there is a way out, we can simply watch the thoughts and not get carried away by the mind. When we simply sit and watch, we will feel so fresh, calm and free. We will be able to taste the silence and peace within.
When we meditate regularly, there will be a positive change in our lives. We will be more balanced and stable. We will not easily get triggered by the outer world. We are able to respond to all happenings in a calm and proper manner.
Then we found life is so simple.
