People have been asking me isn't yoga doing those poses stretching the body, and why from what they get from me is something very different. In fact yoga is a very deep subject far more than the poses. It is about our nature, who we are. It is about becoming a better person and live life to the fullest. It is about tasting joy and bliss within.
This involves lots of practices and purifications as we are ignorant and egoistic. Most of our speech and actions are driven by ego as we always want to have more and better than others. More money, bigger titles, more attention, more special compare to others, more love from others... This is the way we have been living. And we are not aware of this. We have been controlled by our mind and we thought this is life. We are suffering because of this mind game, chasing, comparing and competing.
Yoga is a path to awaken us and purify us, to such an extent we can be in our purest form, the very natural us. Then life will be totally different.
Life is not simply about work, titles, house, getting married, having children and keep chasing for more. Yes of course we need a place to live and food to eat. But there is a deeper dimension where we taste something beyond the materialistic world. And this is what yoga is about. We realize we are not these titles, money, houses...
We are not the mind.
We are not the thoughts.
We taste the vastness of life.
We taste joy and bliss within.
